The Schedule

Our plans for our time in Tamarindo can be best described by the Costa Rican mentality: Pura Vida!

We aim for this to be a time for connecting our families, spending some quality time together, and enjoying the beautiful beaches of the Guanacaste region.

More extensive tours are also available to go ziplining or visit animal sanctuaries. These can be booked directly with the hotel, and you are welcome to arrange them for yourselves if you feel inclined. We’d like to point out that some of these activities are further away, so expect to be gone for quite a while.

Here is where the celebration is going down. Tamarindo Beach is located in the beautiful Guanacaste province on the northwest pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Tamarindo is known for its great surfing conditions because of its consistent waves and the weather in Tamarindo is awesome year-round.

This iconic beach resort is located in the middle of Playa Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

The property has 3 outdoor pools and direct access to the beach. With its 242 rooms, 4 restaurants, a gelato cafe, and 3 bars we’re certain everyone will find their happy place.

These charming rooms are located just a few yards from the beach and offer the most spectacular views over our tropical gardens and the vast Pacific Ocean. Your private terrace or balcony invites you to enjoy your morning coffee or cocktail while watching the amazing Tamarindo sunsets.

Tropicana

These rooms are located within our quiet area and are surrounding the Tropicana Pools. It's perfect for guests seeking tranquility and relaxation.

Family Pool

The rooms are surrounding our Lagoon Pool. The Pool and the beautiful tropical gardens offer a beautiful backdrop while you are enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing on your private balcony.

Getting there

We assume most of you will be flying in, although a road trip might also be quite an adventure. There are no airports in the immediate vicinity of Tamarindo, but we’ve listed the two closest options below.

Liberia International Airport (LIR)
Closest airport to Tamarindo Beach, however it’s quite small and isn’t serviced by many airlines.
Distance: 65km (around 1.5hrs by car)

San Jose Airport (SJO)
The largest and most accessible airport in Costa Rica. It’s not close to the Hotel, so perhaps plan for a layover in San Jose.
Distance: 250km (around 4.5hrs by car)
